Edison Private Day Care learning center has been taking care of our community for over 33 years. The Florida Department of Children and Families license our childhood programs. | | | | | | | | Preschool Program |  | Our preschool program is created to meet the individual needs of each child. We believe that a "hands-on" approach is the most effective way for children to learn and retrain what they have learned.

(5 years old) | | | | |  | | | Our preschool classrooms are located in a separate building. These groups are divided by age, using Sept. 1 as the cutoff date. The three pre-kindergarten classes and the two kindergarten classes work simultaneously on the same Florida Sunshine Standards curriculum.
We have a Preschool Computer Center in the preschool building containing computers with CD-ROMs and age appropriate software for pre-kindergarten and kindergarten. Additionally, all classrooms contain TV system, VCR system and a radio/cassette player.
